The original estate covers about 330 hectares, with a further 947 hectares notified for Supa Parner Phase II. Within that expansion, 230 hectares is reserved for an exclusive Japanese industrial park under an MoU between JETRO and MIDC. Supa is a mixed estate rather than an auto cluster, which means the recurring work here is tooling and maintenance rather than prototyping.

What being on the estate changes
Being on the same estate changes what is worth ordering. A fixture that would never justify a courier and a two-day wait becomes worth trying when someone can walk it over after lunch and you can hand it back with a change written on it. That loop, print it, try it, change it, print it again, is where printed tooling beats machined tooling, and it only works when the supplier is minutes away rather than hours.
Getting parts to you: Walk it over, or send someone on a two-wheeler. Most Supa jobs get collected and returned by hand the same week, and there is no courier charge on anything within the estate.

Excluding GST and courier. A first version in PLA at draft finish costs less again, and is usually the right way to start: the first fixture is rarely right, and finding that out for a few hundred rupees is the whole advantage over machined tooling.
